PtagChain is a product of Provenance Tags, Fruebjergvej 3, 2100 København, Denmark, the data controller for this website. We keep data collection to a minimum and process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. We don’t profile you or fingerprint your device. Our servers keep only short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time) to operate and secure the site; these aren’t used to identify you.

The AI concierge

The “Ask AI” assistant helps you scope a project. Your messages are sent to our language-model provider solely to generate a reply — not to advertise to you or build a profile. It does not ask for your name or email and works fine without them, so please don’t enter sensitive personal data. A brief only leaves your browser if you choose to send it (via “Send to team” or by emailing us) — at which point we receive your email address because you sent it.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us — if you email us or forward a brief, we receive the details you include (name, email, company, message) so we can respond and, where relevant, deliver services.

Why & on what basis

To respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, meet legal obligations, and secure our systems — on the bases of your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest.

Sharing & retention

We never sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate (hosting, our language-model gateway, email), under safeguards, and keep it only as long as necessary.
